Pesto Pizza Night Recipe #2 April Week B

Pesto Pizza Dough and Toppings

 

 

Ingredients

 

Method

Dough for 2 people:

 

2 tsp instant yeast

1 tsp honey plus 2/3 c water

1 tb olive oil

1tsp salt

1¾ cup All Purpose Flour

¼ pint GrapeTomatoes

1 oz Asian Green

1 each Basil Pesto

10 g oyster mushroom

 

 

Step 1: Heat Honey Water to Luke warm (around 110f, should not be so hot it burns you or

you'll kill the yeast)

Step 2: Mix in yeast, let stand for 3 minutes

Step 3: Add 1TB olive oil and 1tsp salt

Step 4: Slowly mix in 1 3/4 c flour, knead into a ball.

Step 5: Grease a large bowl, put the dough in the bowl, cover with a clean wet dishcloth and

let sit in your warm kitchen for 1 hour.

Step 6: Spread olive oil on a sheet pan or baking tray. Take dough and spread out on the tray,

stretching to all four corners.

Step 7: Preheat oven to 415f. Cover dough and let sit near oven while you prep your toppings.

Step 8: Prep your vegetables - Cut your cherry tomatoes in half. Slice your red onion in thin

half moons. Tear the asain greens into thin strips.

Step 9: Spread sauce over your dough, cover with your vegetables and cheese if you'd like.

Cook in oven for 15 minutes
