200 g Cabbage
3 tbsp Almonds
3 each Green Onions
4 tbsp Sesame Oil
2 tbsp Lemon Juice (Org Bottled)
1 tsp Ginger, Fresh
1 tsp Soy Sauce
1 each Apple
barley 1/2 cup
4 g Mint, Fresh
5 g Basil Fresh
Slice your cabbage thinly and mix with vinegrette. Set aside.
Place your barley in a sauce pan and pour in 3 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer (with the lid on) of 30 minutes.
(30 minutes for pearl barley or 50 minutes for hulled. barley. depends on what you buy). Set aside to cool.
Cut your apple into matchsticks. Thinly slice your green onions. Lightly toast your sliced almonds in a frying pan till golden. Rough chop
Mix everything together in a large bowl and serve in smaller, even cuter bowls!
